Solomonic timing — planetary days and hours

The Key of Solomon as a timing system: planetary days, Chaldean hours and a live ruling-planet clock. Free to read.

Solomonic timing is the electional system preserved in the Key of Solomon. Each weekday has a ruling planet. Each day splits into twelve unequal hours from sunrise to sunset and twelve more after dark, each ruled in turn by one of the seven classical planets in Chaldean order.

The tradition also weighs whether the Moon is waxing or waning, and matches the nature of each planet to the kind of action being timed. This page explains the system and shows a live ruling-planet clock. It is taught descriptively, not as advice.
